The ConstructSafe Scheme: Sites are requiring this as part of allowing access for all.

ConstructSafe is an industry-standard being used to establish a minimum quality of Health and Safety competency.

More and more principal contractors and clients recognise Constructsafe to be the standard requirement for everyone on a commercial construction site. It provides all of us with reassurance that those that are working on our sites are competent and safe to do so.

The ConstructSafe scheme is not a training course; it is an online test ensuring basic health and safety competency. The test is a touch screen and can be delivered through tablet devices. The test also carries audio to assist candidates with reduced literacy skills.

All tests must be completed through an accredited test centre.

Sensible Safety offers knowledge assessments for Tiers 1-5. Tier 1 is for everyone working in construction and covers things that they should understand. The content of the test has been developed and refined from existing NZ Industry knowledge and resources provided as part of the ConstructSafe development project run by Construction Health and Safety New Zealand (CHASNZ).

ConstructSafe accredited Mobile Testing Centre

Providing ConstructSafe testing for your workers anywhere that suits you. We bring everything, all you need to provide is an appropriate place for workers to sit the test. Alternatively, send your people to us, we have a test centre set up in Sandringham, Auckland.

Sensible Safety has recognised that at first, candidates may not feel comfortable sitting this test, We have developed health and safety training options to support those completing the test.

Giving your workers the best chance of success when it comes to passing their ConstructSafe health and safety assessment on the first attempt. We provide training to suit your organisation prior to candidates sitting the test.

Reactive Training:

Providing additional training for workers who weren’t successfully passing the ConstructSafe assessment the first time around, making them more confident in their resit.
